Prevent Suicide Wisconsin (PSW) is a coalition of organizations and agencies including Mental Health America of Wisconsin, the Department of Health Services, the Department of Public Instruction, county human service and crisis agencies, and local suicide prevention coalitions from across the state.
The mission of PSW is to reduce the number of suicides that take place in Wisconsin each year by increasing public awareness of suicide and mental illness; the warnings signs of those who might be in crisis; and methods for suicide prevention through education, information and collaboration with all who are affected by suicide and mental illness - which is the entire state.
The PSW web site serves as a portal to information and education about suicide prevention in Wisconsin.
