Please join us on Saturday, Nov. 17th 2012 to commemorate all those who have lost their lives while being treated for mental illness in Milwaukee County.

We will gather at IndependenceFirst (540 S. 1st Street) from 1:00pm until 4:00pm to share our thoughts and share a meal together.

The members of Justice Unlimited, a group of people who live with mental illness and their allies, are hosting this event in the hope that we can create awareness of the problem of unfair treatment for those living with mental illness, a problem so big yet understood so little, and one that should be on the forefront of a national conversation instead of being on the back page. People continue to die while supposedly being "cared" for by a government that has never considered proper mental health care a priority.
